Wherryite (type locale) with Caledonite and Leadhillite, Diaboleite etc.
Mammoth -St Anthony Mine, Tiger, Mammoth District, Pinal County
Arizona, United States
3.4 x 2.6 x 2.1 CM (thumbnail)
price: $330
Worldwide mix summer

The sort of colorful rarity array that has made the Tiger Arizona world famous. The most obvious specie here is the bright blue Caledonite in microcrystals, some associated Leadhillite is seen in and near the main mass, two small crystal sections that look like Paralaurionite are noted but hard to confirm. The sides and back have green to yellow green zones of Wherryite and a few bright blue spots of Diaboleite and or Linarite. As is often the case with complex Tiger specimens there are several other very small crystals seen at 20-40X magnification that are not identified. A rich large thumbnail from this venerable classic locale.
