A vug of well protected Brochantite crystals ex John Marshall collection that has an excellent provenance. John bought this from Johnathan Smith (NYC mineral dealer) in Feb 1994. Jonathan had obtained this from the Alan Green collection who had gotten this from the Schortmann brothers at their famed sale in NYC in 1950, at the Hotel Lexington. This is the period where the Schortmans were selling minerals collected by Ed Over and Arthur Montgomery. All the original labels for this are included. In good condition, a cute Utah Copper specimen with pedigree.
