Wulfenite- Classic locale, complete single crystal
stock #18.AX-098-(A29)
Red Cloud Mine, Silver District, Trigo Mts, La Paz County
Arizona, United States
2.1 x 1.8 x .4 CM (thumbnail)
price: $160
Spring update

Rich red, lustrous and in very good condition, this is a fine thumbnail from Red cloud that is fully terminated on all sides. Complete crystals like this are quite rare. There are two tiny (under 3 MM) areas of attached matrix that were the points of attachment for this to form from, a near perfect "floater". One tiny contact from another Wulfenite is noted on one side but no chipping or damage. An American classic with textbook form.
Wulfenite on Duftite

Tsumeb
Otavi-Bergland district, Oshikoto, Namibia
3.2 x 2.2 x 2.1 CM (thumbnail)
price: $330
Pre Holiday 2017

A superb, sharp yellow Wulfenite crystal perched on a delicate matrix of bright green Duftite balls and related minerals. Great combination with wonderful color and in exceptional condition. With 20 x magnification I can just see one very microscopic bruise point that is impossible to find otherwise. Choice display specimen that has fine form and color contrast.
Wulfenite (gem clear crystals) with Dolomite, Leiteite
stock #16.1-460-(CN5369)
Tsumeb
Otjikoto Region, Namibia
7.3 x 4.9 c 3.1 CM (cabinet)
price: $880
Pre Holiday 2017

A super fine gemmy group of Wulfenite crystals with several habits on a complex, altered matrix. The specimen has many micro crystals that are not identified and a small zone of the rare Leiteite. Highly lustrous and quite esthetic with a deep cognac color. In excellent condition, ex Charles Noll collection.
Wulfenite on Calcite
stock #16.1-065
Jianshan mine (stone crack), Ruoqiang County, Bayin gholin prefecture
Xinjiang, China
9.2 x 4.3 x 1.3 CM (cabinet)
price: $400
new june 17

A thin plate of matrix hosts dozens of brilliant orange-red Wulfenites with a particularly bright luster. The contrast with the white matrix is excellent and the condition overall is very good, a few chipped crystals at the edges have to be mentioned, but the main central area is quite damage free. From the remarkable finds near Urumqi in Xinjiang. This specimen has not been damaged by cleaning in strong acids so the color and luster are well above average. A good value for such an esthetic piece.
Wulfenite with Mimetite
stock #AX- 21-052
Rowley Mine, (Reliance Mine), Theba, Painted Rock District
Arizona, United States
4.6 x 3.4 x 2.4 CM (miniature)
price: $700
Spring 2017

An excellent, fine, delicate and colorful specimen of windowpane Wulfenite on matrix. A few tiny bits of Mimetite are found on close inspection. In incredible condition for such a delicate mineral, with good magnification I can find only one tiny chipped crystal that is out of sight anyway, essentially perfect. This was found in the last mining attempts at Rowley, that project is now finished and there may never be any more of these. A clean, classic and very esthetic specimen.
Wulfenite on Mimetite
stock #15.1-970-(SM4923)
Ahumada Mine, Los Lamentos
Chihuahua, Mexico
9.8 x 7 x 4 CM (cabinet)
price: $590
Winter 2016-17

A very fine, attractive Bipyrimidal Wulfenite from Los Lamentos. This famed mine is best known for the tabular habit Wulfenites, but rarely this pointed habit was found, often on a dark green druze of tiny Mimetite crystals. Similar but noticably different from bipyrimidal Wulfs from Mina Ojuella. This specimen is esthetic, large, very colorful and in fine condition. A choice older Mexican classic Wulfenite.

Winter 2016-17

An unusual habit Red Cloud specimen with a bright red elongated Wulfenite esthetically perched on the matrix. In great condition as seen, there is a tiny contact at one corner but no damage. A fine thumbnail.

Winter 2016-17

Fine butterscotch yellow crystals both standing and laying on a Calcite/Smithsonite matrix. For this delicate mineral (in thin fragile crystals) it is in exceptional condition. Micro chips exist but are very minor. Very good esthetics.
