Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan
7.2 x 4.9 x 4.9 CM (cabinet)

Spring update

Sharp and perfect Topaz (4.4 CM across) with an unusual but very esthetic morphology. Glassy luster and esthetically exposed, this is a very choice piece that is far better in person. The Topaz presents with an elongated termination facing outwards and the form and presentation is not a typical one. Damage free and for a non-colorful specimen this is really different and eye-catching in a display.

stock #17.1-158
Antonio Pereira Mine, Ouro Preto
Minas Gerais, Brazil
4.1 x 1.5 x 1 CM (miniature)
price: $340

A single Imperial Topaz crystal with traditional color and far above average clarity. In fine condition and mostly gem grade. The color is yellow-orange with a slight hint of red zoning. From the Antonio Pereira area of Ouro Preto, this locality has almost two centuries of history for Topaz finds. This has the most classic and distinctive look for the area but is considerably better than typical quality, form and color.

A very clear gem Topaz with a slight sherry color perched on a Clevelandite matrix. The Topaz crystal has a number of internal bubbles and negative crystals, it is in excellent condition. Nice esthetics and form, this is all natural color, there has been no irradiation for enhancement. The high clarity lets you see the matrix clearly through the Topaz.

A small but very esthetic version of classic light blue topaz from the Urals. A gem clear crystal with pale blue color at 1.9 CM in size is neatly perched on contrasting matrix. Small additional crystals of Tourmaline are on the matrix adding interest. Very good condition damage wise this presents nicely.
