Fluorite (phantom cube)
stock #13.1-125
Huangshaping, Chenzoh prefecture
Hunan Province, China
6 x 5.1 x 2.4 CM (cabinet)
price: $320
pre Tucson 2015 update

A sharp phantom cube of transparent Fluorite perched on the edge of a thin matrix plate. From the find of 2002 at the little known location of Huangshaping. This is a very fine, clean specimen that displays well. This small mine is located close to the much larger famed Xianghuapu locale but the look and quality are completely different. Very good value.

Plumbogummite with Pyromorphite
stock #14.1-444
Daoping Mine, Gongcheng County, Guilin Prefecture
Guangxi Province, China
5.5 x 3.4 x 3.8 CM (cabinet)
price: $475
pre Tucson 2015 update

China recently produced a spectacular find of Plumbogummite that is by far the most attractive of this usually drab mineral. The best pieces are a replacement of Pyromorphite crystals with a blue green hue. This piece is a delicate jackstraw collection of slender crystals forming a nest. This is almost pure Plumbogummite with a little Cerussite but on some broken crystals that show unaltered Pyromorphite cores. Very fine form for this rare mineral and quite esthetic.

Sphalerite with Dolomite, Galena
stock #AX-18-034
Huaron Mines, Huaron Mining District, San jose de Huayllay District
Pasco Department, Peru
5.9 x 5.5 x 3.2 CM (cabinet)
price: $380
pre Tucson 2015 update

Dark orange Sphalerite in well-formed crystals perched on a contrasting Dolomite in an esthetic arrangement. This comes from a small find in the late 70's at Huaron that was unique. The crystals are translucent and glow with backlighting, but in normal light this still displays very well as seen here. A good example of this old find that is very rare on the market.
