A very clean, gem clear Topaz with a strong pink- red color in the core with the more orange zones on the edges. The rarest and most valued colors of Imperial Topaz are the red and purple hues. This is an especially choice clear single prism with glasslike faces, no damage or cleaves. The color is stronger and a bit deeper in person, the bulk of this is of facet grade. Mined in 2016 from the Pereira Mine in Ouro Preto, well known as the sole locale for the true "imperial" Topaz.

A single Imperial Topaz crystal with traditional color and far above average clarity. In fine condition and mostly gem grade. The color is yellow-orange with a slight hint of red zoning. From the Antonio Pereira area of Ouro Preto, this locality has almost two centuries of history for Topaz finds. This has the most classic and distinctive look for the area but is considerably better than typical quality, form and color.

A new find of Imperial topaz with zoned inclusions from the famed Ouro Preto. This late 2016 find had less than a dozen crystals but all have deep brown to near black inclusions on the lower areas of the crystals. The tops and terminations are very fine, gem clear and slightly zoned in hues of yellow to orange. This world class locale has produced unique "imperial" Topaz for many decades. This small find is very special, it a unique habit that is different but still exhibits the well known fine gem crystal that is classic from here. In person this is more transparent, lustrous and undamaged
