Arizona, United States
2.2 x 1.4 x .9 CM (thumbnail)
price: $160

A sharp windowpane type Wulfunite crystal on matrix that is dusted with tiny Calcite crystals. In fine condition despite the delicay of the piece, the crystal has a more red color seen from the back and a more yellow-orange from the front.
Quartz with Rutile and Chlorite
stock #18.1-109
Manihar Valley Kuilu District
Himachal Pradesh, India
9.8 x 5.4 x 4.2 CM (cabinet)
price: $350
Worldwide mix summer

A remarkable Alpine type quartz from the amazing new finds in the Manihar Valley. The clarity of this Quartz in person looks like a fine Swiss specimen, the small areas of Chlorite and a few sprays of Rutile needles are also distinctive. A few of the prisms in this cluster are doubly terminated, and all are clear enough to see through to see the chlorite matrix on the back side. A very sculptural arrangement, there is no damage here just a few contacts and the whole is a very esthetic cluster.
Wulfenite
stock #18.1-276
Touissit, Touissit-Bou Beker Dist., Jerada Province
Oriental Region, Morocco
5.5 x 3.8 x 3.3 CM (small cabinet/ large miniature)
price: $375
Worldwide mix summer

Intense bright yellow Wulfenite crystals with minimal matrix in a complex cluster. The crystals show several different edges including beveled, flat and recrystallized jagged edges. Not perfect but in very good condition, there are some tiny chips that do not stand out on display, minimal for such a delicate piece and not distracting. From the great Touissit mines that have been closed for decades now, they once produced some exceptional specimens and this is a choice and richly colored example of one.
Sphalerite -gemmy prismatic

ZCA Mine number 4, Balmat, Balmat-Edwards District, St. Lawrence, Co.
New York, United States
1.6 x 1. x 1 CM (thumbnail)
price: $200

Small thumbnail of sharp, glassy transparent crystals of Sphalerite from New York. Textbook forms and with bright luster, the crystals are in fine condition. A modern northeastern US classic locale, these Sphalerites are choice little gems.
Phenakite - Untwinned crystals on matrix
stock #18.1-157
Phenakite mine, Khetchel Village, Molo Quarter, Momeik Township, Kyaukme
Shan State, Myanmar (Burma)
4.6 x 3.2 x 2.7 CM (miniature)
price: $280

Sharp glassy crystals of Phenakite perched on Microcline and Quartz. Most Myanmar Phenakite is twinned, this is the more rare untwinned form of blocky crystals which are in fine condition. Matrix examples are also quite uncommon, most specimens are loose single six sided prisms. A good value for a choice, uncommon type Phenakite.
Wherryite (type locale) with Caledonite and Leadhillite, Diaboleite etc.
stock #13.1-403
Mammoth Mine, Tiger, Arizona
Arizona, United States
3.4 x 2.6 x 2.1 CM (thumbnail)
price: $330
Worldwide mix summer

The sort of colorful rarity array that has made the Tiger Arizona world famous. The most obvious specie here is the bright blue Caledonite in microcrystals, some associated Leadhillite is seen in and near the main mass, two small crystal sections that look like Paralaurionite are noted but hard to confirm. The sides and back have green to yellow green zones of Wherryite and a few bright blue spots of Diaboleite and or Linarite. As is often the case with complex Tiger specimens there are several other very small crystals seen at 20-40X magnification that are not identified. A rich large thumbnail from this venerable classic locale.
Cerussite with Malachite, Deviline etc. Vintage
stock #18.1-156
Rezbanya, Baita Mining District, Nucet
Bihor, Romania
7 x 4.4 x 3.2 CM (cabinet)
price: $800
Worldwide mix summer

Glassy, clear and sharp prismatic crystals of Cerussite in a protected vug. This was collected back when Rezbanya was in Hungary, now called Baita, which is in Bihor, Romania. There are references to good Cerussite specimens in 19th century mineral texts but these are almost never seen even in old collections. Attractive and in fine condition, the Cerussites have a light cognac color and are transparent. From an old collection in the Czech Republic, this is a significant, vintage Roumanian specimen
Quartz- Amethyst Phantom
stock #18- AX-4-432
Goboboseb Mts., Brandberg area,
Erongo Region, Namibia
6.2 x 3.2 x 2.9 CM (small cabinet/ large miniature)
price: $750
Worldwide mix summer

Gem clear and incredibly perfect, this is a stunning Goboboseb Amethyst that is far better in person. Goboboseb Quartz is world famous for its elegant form but exceptional pieces like this are actually very rare. In impeccable condition and with amazing inclusions this is from that tiny percentage that can be called superb. Sharp negative Quartz crystal inclusions and scepters are seen with magnification inside the lower part of the crystal as are small blood red blades of Hematite. One of the best we have handled, not large in size but quality.
