Elbaite/ Schorl with Fluorite, Quartz etc
stock #18.1-189
Stak Nala, Haramoush Mountains
Skardu District, Baltistan, Pakistan
3.8 x 2.8 1.8 CM (small miniature)
price: $330
Spring update

Dark Tourmalines (deep green- brown to black) that are translucent and very lustrous with a green Fluorite crystal. Small Quartz crystals and Albite are also present. In excellent condition as seen the terminations are sharp and complete. It is likly that this Tourmaline is a mixture of both Elbaite and Schorl in zoned growth. The Fluorite is a modified octahedron and the combination is very attractive. A choice small miniature from the amazing pegmatites of Stak Nala.

Wulfenite -with Descloizite coating
stock #AX-10-167
Ahumada Mine, Los Lamentos
Chihuahua, Mexico
8.3 x 7.8 x 3.9 CM (cabinet)
price: $425
Spring update

A sparkling coating of Descloizite on tabular habit Wulfenites that make up a large part of the matrix here. Very distinctive form and well exposed crystals make this a unique and remarkable specimen. In fine condition overall, this is from the 1960 era, and clearly not like most Los Lamentos pieces. The coating is on all sides except at the small point of attachment at the "bottom", in a few zones some of the orange color of the Wulfenites can be seen.

Pyromorphite
stock #0636-JM-1597
Kransberg, Usinggen, Taunus Mountains
Hesse, Germany
6.8 x 4.9 x 5 CM (cabinet)
price: $525
Spring update

An old Kransberg German Pyromorphite from the Collection of John Marshall. Johns Pyromorphite suite was an ambitions attempt to gather the best examples possible from every confirmed Pyromorphite location in the world. He obtained many obscure and exotic examples in 60 plus years of effort. This was obtained by him in 1989. The 6.3 x 4.5 CM display surface is covered with mix of Pyro and Quartz with crystals to 5mm., most in good condition. Although no mine was attributed on older labels it looks a good match for the Jennette mine in Kransberg.

HOLD Veszelyite on Hemimorphite
stock #HOLD AX-15-226
Gejiu Ore Field, Gejiou ounty, Honghe Prefecture
Yunnan Province, China
10.2 x 7 x 5.7 CM (cabinet)
price: $720
Spring update

A large blue Hemimorphite in botryoidal form hosts dozens of brilliant blue Veszelyite crystals. Ex Shileds Flynn collection, a very esthetic presentation for this rare mineral. This comes from an important find in Yunnan province that made big news in 2006. The specimen has been sawn on the back/ underside but the display faces are natural in form. The Hemimorphite has a very three dimensional form, and this also has a range of blue hues that add to the relief.

Copper with Quartz
stock #AX-19-163
Onganja Mine, Windhoek District
Khomas Region, Namibia
5.1 x 2.8 x 1.7 CM (miniature)
price: $350
Spring update

A crystallized sculpture of Copper from the famed Onganja mine that has several crystallized Quartz clusters perched. In fine condition, the Quartz seems to have formed on a Calcite core. A rare association, the tiny Quartz crystals are very clear, adding a sparkling accent. The Copper is in branching crystals with some showing crude spinel twinning and flattened, stretched octahedrons. Quartz is not a common association in these coppers.
