Galena with Dolomite and Sphalerite
stock #18 AX-27-091
Ninth of September mine, Madan, Rhodope Mountains
Smolyan Oblast, Bulgaria
7.7 x 4.7 x 3.6 CM (cabinet)
price: $380
Worldwide mix summer

Bright metallic Galena with high luster is epitaxially encrusted with Dolomite in a very esthetic manner. Much of the Dolomite is in spherical form and is aligned on crystal edges. In super condition, the specimen is more impressive in person and the crystals have mirror brilliance on many faces. The Madan area mines have been the source of the worlds best Galena for several years, this specimen shows why these are so well respected as a very good value for quality.
Rose Quartz - large doubly terminated crystals

Ilha claim, Taquaral, Itinga
Minas Gerais, Brazil
5.3 x 4 x 2.8 CM (small cabinet/ large miniature)

Sharp undamaged rose Quartz crystals in a parallel position cluster. Individual crystals reach 3 CM and are all doubly terminated. Very glassy luster, good color and with just a small contrasting Quartz matrix. On close exam some curving faces are seen. Choice display piece that has strong display impact from several angles. Better in person too
Microcline var. Amazonite - intense color
stock #13.1-275
Lake George area, Teller County
Colorado, United States
4.3 x 2.9 x 1.9 CM (miniature)
price: $185

A super, small specimen in excellent condition and with top grade color. Sharp form, undamaged and un-repaired, larger specimens with this quality cost thousands. Excellent value for a vibrant, classic USA Microcline.
Dundasite with Allophane
stock #18-AX-12-584
Juanite Mine, Magdalena
New Mexico, United States
5.8 x 4.2 x 4.4 CM (small cabinet/ large miniature)
price: $90
Worldwide mix summer

A vuggy matrix hosts balls of crystalized Dundasite (white acicular needles in spheres) and bright blue and green Allophane. From the Juanita mine, in the famed Magdalena district of New Mexico, this is a moderately rich specimen that has several zones with tiny Dundasite balls. We do not see this material very often, this older piece was in the Hladysz collection.
Graphite - very fine, sharp crystals
stock #18.1-285
Olmsteadville, Minerva Township, Essex County
New York, United States
2.9 x 2.1 x 2 CM (thumbnail)
price: $525
Worldwide mix summer

A superb rosette crystal cluster of Graphite standing on matrix. At 1.1 cm across and with bright metallic luster this is a killer thumbnail in fine condition. Magnification finds one tiny edge contact but for this delicate mineral this is in amazing condition. Textbook form, and with fine esthetics, Graphite is not a rare mineral but well formed lustrous crystals are very rare. From finds in the late seventies, an excellent US classic specimen.
