Homestake-Jack Pot Mine, Oatman District, Black Mountains, Mohave County
Arizona, United States
6.6 x 6.5 x 5.3 CM (cabinet)
price: $320
Spring 2017

A sweet Arizona Fluorite with light satin frosted faces on octahedral crystals. In excellent undamaged condition, the pale mint green Fluorite contrasts well with the white Quartz. A hard to find quality of esthetics for this locality.
Copper- Spinel twin- exceptional
stock #16.1-315
Itauz Mine, Zhilandy group
Karagandy Province, Kazakhstan
6.8 x 2.2 x 1.1 CM (cabinet)
price: $900
Spring 2017

We have seen and handled a lot of nice Kazakhstan Coppers, which can be very fine. This small cabinet specimen is my personal favorite so far. Textbook sharp linked chain of crystals in a perfect floater with a tree-like spray on top of the elongated spinel twins. Fantastic form, no damage at all and with a nice patina. A worthy and esthetic piece that is incredible in person.
Quartz V. Amethyst on Prehnite
stock #16.1-770
Goboboseb Mts., Brandberg area,
Erongo Region, Namibia
9.9 x 7.5 x 3.6 CM (cabinet)
price: $170
Spring 2017

A single slender dark purple Amethyst (7.3 CM long)rises from a small cleft in a pale green Prehnite layer. A nice example of a typical habit Goboboseb specimen. Some zoning in the Quartz and in very good condition.
Cuprite Var. Chalcotrichite
stock #16.1-292
Tsumeb
Otjikoto Region, Namibia
4.4 x 4 x 1.9 CM (miniature)
price: $360
Spring 2017

One of the colorful and desirable minerals from Tsumeb, a nice specimen of bright red Chalcotrichite. The specimen vug has several tufts of red hair crystals and a mass of Calcite that is bright red colored by included Chalcotrichite. The cavity in this specimen is also lined with tiny Dolomite crystals and provides a good protection for the delicate crystals inside.
Andalusite (showing Pinite alterations)
stock #16.1-1274
Lusens Valley, Sellrain Valley. Northern Tyrol
Tyrol, Austria
8 x 7.4 x 4.7 CM (cabinet)
price: $290
Spring 2017

A classic Tyrolian Andalusite, several sharp crystals are well exposed from enclosing Quartz. These old Austrian specimens are some of the best examples of this specie, which is usually not very impressive. This is in fine condition and has strong esthetics. With several old labels, this is a about as sharp and perfect as these crystals get.
Vanadinite with Barite -large hoppered / branching cluster
stock #Alec-12-203
Mibladen Mine, Upper Moulouya lead district, Midelt, Khenifra Province
Meknes-Tafilalet Region, Morocco
6.1 x 3.2 x 3.2 CM (cabinet)
price: $725
Spring 2017

A complex cluster of deep red hoppered and elongated Vanadinite in epitaxial arrangements perched nicely on a base of Barite blades. An older Mibladen specimen, the branching, tree-like form makes it very eyecatching. Undamaged by naked eye but magnification does find some small chipped spots. An unusual piece that is quite elegant and well composed.
Fluorapatite on Muscovite
stock #16.1-311
Panasquieira Mines, Panasquiera Covilha
Castelo Branco District, Portugal
5.4 x 3.2 x 2.6 CM (cabinet)
price: $400
Spring 2017

Sharp purple Apatites are scattered on a finger of fine grained muscovite in an esthetic grouping. Crystals reach 1.7 CM and most show good color zoning. A choice small cabinet specimen that displays well from the classic mines of Panasquiera. One small contact can be found on a lower edge otherwise this is in perfect undamaged condition.
Gersdorffite with Annabergite
stock #16.1-298
Alt Ahmane, Bou Azer, Tazenakht, Ouarzazate Province
Souss Massa Draa Region, Morocco
4.2 x 3.5 x 2.7 CM (miniature)
price: $760
Spring 2017

Gersdorffite in good or sizable crystals has been super rare until this one small discovery. This is a very fine piece and is the best example we have had from the world class 2014 Bou Azzer find. Sharp lustrous octahedra in a cluster with contrasting green Annabergite shows this Nickel specie well. A brittle mineral, this has some cracks and chipping on some crystals but overall is in exceptional condition. Sharp crystals to 2.3 CM is quite impressive for this specie.
